He is a longstanding investor in therapeutics with a specific focus on unique opportunities within neuroscience, oncology and ophthalmology.

Marcus started off his career has a software technology entrepreneur and later worked as a visiting researcher at Prof. John Stein’s Physiology Department at the University of Oxford focusing on brain circuits and their in silico modeling, as well as the effects of fatty acid signaling in neurology.
